The line was slow going, but the one person serving was taking a while with customers and they were under the pump so we were patient. We had two lanes booked for 11am, turned up at 10: 45 and lined up. I would not even give this place one star.unfortunately I have to. I’m actually really glad we were refused entry cause I’d rather spend my hard earned money somewhere else then at your dodgy run down bowling alley with your half cooked dog food. Not very professional, I think you and your staff should read up on the new laws and maybe instead of just looking at someone and assuming their age actually ask them. They just looked at us and denied entry, straight away saying “nah you gotta leave”. The man and girl did not even bother to ask how old he is. This is because he is 14 and not required to show proof nor did we have the documents (why would a 18 year old sister have his medical documents is beyond me, it’s the parents who hold that type of info - he’s literally 14 and you expect him to have his own Medicare care and myGov account?). She then asked for my brothers status to which I replied we didn’t have.

I am 18 and fully vaxxed I showed the girl my proof via the check in app. Yesterday I went with my two little brothers to do some bowling as a school holiday activity. The law states that if you are over 16 you must show your vaccine status. From reading previous reviews, I can see this behaviour is sadly a common occurrence, I too will NOT be returning to this abysmal establishment. It was a family and I would say the kids were anywhere from 4-6 years old. Her husband (the other owner), standing in the middle of the walk way talking to a league bowler, had both loudly made rude remarks to another group when bowling and made a point to mention their “lack of skills”. I wouldn’t even wish her service on my greatest enemies. Not long after when I had my shoes swapped for a bigger size she made a point to slam them on the counter and said “Are these good enough? ” and walked right off. Karen (the manager) laughing in our faces when a friend in the group had asked her how the sizing for the shoes work. We had waited 20 minutes to be served, when no one else was around.

STRATHPINE HYPERBOWL MOVIE
After a nice movie with a small group of friends we had decided to go bowling. Appalling service from all staff members.
